Richard Shaw
Richard Shaw founded Z Post in Atlanta in 1994, and is nationally known as an industry specialist in the field of digital non-linear editing. Editorially, Richard wrote for Television Broadcast, AV Video and Video Systems magazines for over a decade with the pen name, “Rick Shaw.” One of his columns was “More Mac” which was an important review section on the many production advances in Apple technology in those days, which brought us to where we are today in video editing, compositing and now iOS. He made predictions back then on digital production techniques that are now commonplace today, even though the professional world was still mired in tape-based acquisition systems.
He was Vice President of Digital Solutions, Atlanta, (DSI) and was one of the founders of the company. In 2005, Richard opened Pinlight LLC in Hollywood, CA. It’s purpose was to focus more intently on film, HD and electronic media projects.
His career moved into directing, resulting in numerous popular documentaries and this includes WATCHERS, a series available on DVD. Hosted by his partner on the series, L.A. Marzulli, WATCHERS is now in production on its 9th episode. Over the past five years, WATCHERS has sold approx. 100,000 DVDs and people keep asking for new episodes.
In 2015, Richard released “TORAH CODES End to Darkness” which he hosted and directed. A startling new documentary, with the discoverers of the Bible Codes in Israel and New York. He highly values his relationship with the Torah Code experts. This includes Prof. Robert Haralick, Prof. Eliyahu Rips, Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson, Art Levitt and Dr. Alex Rotenberg — the world experts on the Codes. The collaboration continues.
In 2008-2009, Richard was producer/director on The Wordz Project. A one-hour documentary filmed in 1080P, it included over a dozen rap artists, including Grammy-winning, The Bone Thugs -N- Harmony, The Last Poets, Blaxmyth, and newcomers like Pat’s Justice, Skim, Pangy and Oblivion. A newly updated “Clean” version called “The Power of Words” received the Dove stamp of approval and was released in 2011, but now the entire film is available for free on YouTube at the above link.
He was one of three producers on Beat the Drum, (2003) a feature film (Super 35mm Anamorphic, 2.35:1) about the AIDS pandemic in Africa, which won 30 International awards, released in over 150 countries via Kimmel International and MGM International.
Richard is one of the producers on Effects Shop, a pilot TV show about a highly specialized group of artists that create special effects for major motion pictures; i.e. Terminator 3, Constantine, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Backdraft, and Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3. etc.
He’s directed/edited EPKs for Scott Weiland, (Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver) and Mark Olson and Gary Louris, (formerly The Jayhawks) for New West Records. Richard edited and co-produced the “Limited Edition DVD” for Rickie Lee Jones along with producer Lee Cantelon.
Richard’s clients have included CNN, CBN News, WB, Cox Interactive, Billy Graham, WTB, Gold Mountain Entertainment, Johnson & Johnson, Joe Jackson, Rickie Lee Jones, New West Records, and Spiral of Life.
He continues to do both TV and Radio interviews about the Torah Codes, UFOs, or any of the topics covered in the WATCHERS series at home or abroad. He maintains a position on L.A. Marzulli’s board on the study of the Giants.

Preston Dennett began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena. He is a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of sixteen books and more than 100 articles on on UFOs and the paranormal.
